The President of India has been pleased to accept, on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, the resignation of Shri Ananth Kumar, Minister of Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect and has directed that Maj. Gen. (Retd.) B.C. Khanduri be allocated the additional charge of the Ministry of Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation in addition to his present allocation of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
