UMA PILLAI TAKES OVER AS NEW DEFENCE PRODUCTION AND SUPPLIES SECRETARY
Smt Uma Pillai, an officer
1969 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre of the Indian Administrative
Service took over as a Secretary Department of Defence Production
and Supplies in the Ministry of Defence here today. Before taking
over as Secretary in Ministry of Defence she was Chairman of Rural
Electrification Corporation, New Delhi. She has replaced Shri
NS Sisodia who has already taken over as Secretary Banking and
Insurance, Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance.
