FUNDS RELEASED TO MAHARASHTRA &
RAJASTHAN UNDER SGRY
Ministry of Rural
Development has released funds to Maharashtra and Rajasthan under
Sampoorna Gramin Rojgar Yojana (SGRY-1st Stream). An
amount of Rs.82.15 crore has been released as first installment
to the 28 district of Maharashtra during 2003-2004.
Ministry has released
1.64 crore as first installment under SGRY (-1 Stream) to Kota
and Sikar districts of Rajasthan.
The cash expenditure
on the implementation of the programme is to be shared 75.25 basis
between the Centre and the State respectively.
The State Government
should release to the district the State cash share within a fortnight
of the date of release of the Central assistance.
