SSI VENDOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME


Small Industries Service Institute, Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Government of India, Okhla, New Delhi is organizing a National Level Vendor Development Programme at Magpie Hotel, Tourist Complex, Mathura Road, Faridabad, Haryana on 17th and 18th January, 2003 in association with Laghu Udyog Bharti, Faridabad and Director of Industries, Haryana. The objective of this programme is to give open platform to buyers from Government and Public Undertakings and SSI sector to interact directly.

The SSI manufacturers will have the opportunity to interact with representatives of the consuming units and know about the products used at present or those, which may be needed by them in future. Samples and specification will be available. Provisional spot registration of vendors will be done. One to one meeting will be arranged.

Many buyers with hundreds of crores purchases from the core sector of Railways, Defence, Petroleum, Power represented through their companies like BHEL, NTPC, IOC, ONGC, BSNL, etc., and their own purchase departments will participate with samples and specifications of what they want from the SSI units.

The programme will be inaugurated by Shri Mahesh Sharma, Chairman, KVIC. Shri S. K. Tuteja, Secretary, Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Government of India, address the Valedictory function on 18th January, 2003.
