SHRI PRASAD CONDOLES JAGAN MEHTA’s DEMISE

The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad has condoled the death of eminent photographer Shri Jagan Mehta who passed away in Ahmedabad last night. In a message, Shri Prasad said that Shri Mehta became a legend in his lifetime because of the photographs he took of Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and other leaders of the freedom movement and published them in contemporary newspapers and magazines. His photographs have become a past history and would be cherished by the generations to come, Shri Prashad said.
