In a major move
to facilitate exports, it has been decided to extend the working
hours of the Customs, Custodians and Banks at Delhi, Mumbai,
Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad Air Cargo Complexes
as per the table given below:

Further, the Customs
have vide their Notifications No. 55/2000- Customs, dated 30-6-2000;
no. 67/2000- Customs, dated 17-8-2000; no. 22/2001- Customs,
dated 17-4-2001, allowed the facility of congregation/ assimilation
of LCL (Less Container Load) cargo at the Inland Container Depots/Container
Freight Stations (ICDs/ CFSs), to facilitate movement of this
cargo from ICDs/ CFSs to Hub points for further reworking and
exports to destination ports. Further details on this can
