MAJOR MOVE TO FACILITATE EXPORTS - WORKING HOURS AT AIR CARGO COMPLEXES EXTENDED

FACILITATION INITIATIVES ALSO FOR ICDs/CFSs


In a major move to facilitate exports, it has been decided to extend the working hours of the Customs, Custodians and Banks at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad Air Cargo Complexes as per the table given below:

In case of any hurdles faced by trade they have been requested to contact the Department of Commerce on e-mail ngbiswas@ub.delhi.nic.in

Further, the Customs have vide their Notifications No. 55/2000- Customs, dated 30-6-2000; no. 67/2000- Customs, dated 17-8-2000; no. 22/2001- Customs, dated 17-4-2001, allowed the facility of congregation/ assimilation of LCL (Less Container Load) cargo at the Inland Container Depots/Container Freight Stations (ICDs/ CFSs), to facilitate movement of this cargo from ICDs/ CFSs to Hub points for further reworking and exports to destination ports.
