NCC CADETS
TO LEAVE FOR SINGAPORE
A group of eight
(four boys and four girls) NCC cadets which is going to Singapore
to participate in Camp Pinnacle 2003 under Youth Exchange Programme
called on the Directorate General NCC Lt Gen SK Bopanna here today.
Gen Bopanna offered them his best wishes and exhorted them to
bring glory to the country as the young ambassadors of India.
During their
stay in Singapore, the cadets will visit various historical sites
and places of interest besides participating in the camp. They
will Singapore families for two days to have closer interaction
and to share the experience of their values and culture.
The members of
the delegation are Sgt Tushar Menon, Sgt Bhadari Jigna, Sgt Vinita
BG, Cadet Sarath R, SUO Lata Shetry, Cpl Asha Nair, UO Heerak
Das and Cpl R Shruthi.
The delegation will
leave for Singapore on 04th of this month and will
return on Dec 14, 2003.
