The President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of the Parsi New Year which is being celebrated tomorrow, has said: -

"On the auspicious occasion of the Parsi New Year, Navroz, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens.

This festival celebrated by the Parsi community, which has contributed immensely to the Nation’s industry, commerce, trade and education is another example of our pluralism and our commitment to a multi-cultural society. The Parsi community indeed can contribute in a big way for the unity of minds. May this festival inspire us to work for communal harmony and over all progress of the Nation".
