RAILWAY MINISTER GIVES
AWAY LIFETIME CARD PASS TO SHEHNAI MAESTRO
The Union Minister
of Railways, Shri Nitish Kumar called on the Shehnai Maestro Ustad
Bismillah Khan and presented a lifetime First Class Air Conditioned
Card Pass with a companion or escort to him at his hotel room
here today.
Speaking on the occasion,
Shri Nitish Kumar said that the First Class Air Conditioned Card
Pass was an honour conferred upon the Shehnai Maestro from Indian
Railways. This would enable the maestro to travel with a companion
or escort by trains in First Class Air Conditioned all over the
country, the Minister added. The Minister further said that the
entire nation and the Government were proud of Ustad Bismillah
Khan and he felt exalted in his company.
The maestro is a
recipient of Bharat Ratna and is one of the greatest sons of India
for all time to come.
