RURAL ROADS IN RAJASTHAN
Under Pradhan Mantri
Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) proposals for the years 2001-02 and
2002-03 were cleared together in the second half of 2001-02 and
no separate targets were fixed for 2002-03. For Rajasthan the
value of proposals cleared was Rs.296.55 crore in respect of 1007
road works. Out of this, 639 roads have been completed up to March,
2003 and an expenditure of Rs.285.59 crore has been incurred.
This was informed
by Minister of State for Rural Development Shri U.V. Krishanam
Raju in a written reply to Shri Aimaduddin Ahmed Khan (DURRU)
in Rajya Sabha today.
