PRITHVI – II MISSILE FLIGHT TESTED

Prithvi-II missile was flight tested at 1130 hrs from Integrated Test Range, Balasore using improved Control and Guidance today. All the mission objectives have been fully met.

Mission Director of the Project Dr VK Saraswat, said that the flight followed the trajectory and described it as an excellent flight. The various tracking and telemetry stations recorded the flight performance from take off to the impact point. The flight witnessed by Dr. AS Pillai, Chief Controller Research and Development, Defence Research and Development Organisation and senior officers from the Army and Air Force.
