COMPENSATION TO HOWRAH RAJDHANI EXPRESS ACCIDENT AT RAFIGANJ

Two hundred thirty seven claim cases of Howrah Rajdhani train accidents have been admitted in different benches of Railway Claims Tribunals.

As on March 31, 2003, 104 cases have been decreed by the Railway Claims Tribunal. Payment has been arranged in 95 cases. The payment in balance nine cases is under process.

The remaining claims are sub-judice.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya in a written reply to a question from Shri G. Putta Swamy Gowda in the Lok Sabha today.
