RESULT OF THE ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION - 2002 DECLARED


The Union Public Service Commission has declared the final result of the Engineering Services Examination held in June 2002. The successful candidates have been recommended for appointment to Civil Engineering Group, Mechanical Engineering Group, Electrical Engineering Group and Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering Group.

The total number of candidates in the four lists is 344 including 54 candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, 25 belonging to Scheduled Tribes and 127 belonging to the Other Backward Classes. Appointments will be made according to the number of vacancies available. and with due consideration to the provisions contained in Rule 5 (b) and 15 of the Rules for the Examination. Shri B.R.S.L. Narasimha Murty topped the Civil Engineering list while Shri Alok Tiwari topped the Mechanical Engineering list. In Electrical Engineering Shri Neeraj Gupta was the topper while Shri Mukul Kumar Agarwal topped the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering list.
