ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2002 RESULTS


The results of Engineering Service Examination held by the Union Public Service Commission in June, 2002 was declared here today. The candidates in order of merit have been recommended for appointment to Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Groups. The Total number of candidates in these four lists is 344, including 54 scheduled caste candidates, 25 from scheduled tribes and 127 from other backward classes.

Appointments will be made according to the number of vacancies available and with due consideration to the provisions contained in rule 5(b) and 15 of the rules for the examination. UPSC has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near Examination Halls Building in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their Examination/recruitments on working days between 10.00 AM and 5.00 PM in person or over Telephone No. 23385271 and 23381125 from this Counter. The result will also be available on the UPSC Website i.e. WWW.upsc.gov.in.

The mark sheet would be available on the website WWW.upsc.gov.in after ten days from the date of publication of results for a period of thirty days. Candidates will have access to the mark sheet after keying (I) Roll Number and (ii) date of birth. Hard copy of the mark sheet would be issued to the candidate on a specific request received with self-address envelope duly affixed with stamps, within a period of thirty days.
