VICE PRESIDENT GREETS THE PEOPLE
OF INDIA ON THE OCCASION OF BAISAKHI

to the people of India on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
The harvest festival,
Baisakhi, marks the beginning of New Year in some parts of India
and celebrated with great fervour and traditional gaiety. The
festival brings prosperity and success in every home, uniting
people in joyous celebrations with rituals and festivity. The
festival assumes importance as it was on this day, Guru Gobind
Singh founded the Khalsa order.

bring amity, prosperity and happiness in the lives of all.
