SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF INSAT-3 A
GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT: VICE PRESIDENT
While terming the successful
launch of communication satellite INSAT-3 A as a great accomplishment,
Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has said that this
achievement would further strengthen country’s space programme
and communication system.
Vice President’s message
is as under :
‘I am very glad to
know that the communications satellite INSAT-3 A has been successfully
launched today from Kourou in French Guiana and has been functioning
well.
The country rejoices
the achievement of our space scientists and technologists. This
great accomplishment, I am sure, would enable our country to further
strengthen our space programme and communications system.
