GET HINDI WRITER AWARDS/ TWO GET SHIKSHA PURASKARS
Fifteen Hindi writers
from non-Hindi speaking States to get awards for the year 2001-02.
Two to get Shiksha Puraskars. The awards are for meritorious work
in Hindi literature, translation and original books published
in Hindi. The awards carry 50,000 rupees each as cash prize. Under
two schemes 19 awards and five Shiksha Puraskars are given away
every year by the Central Hindi Directorate for the promotion
and development of Hindi in non-Hindi speaking states.
The Hindi awardees
are; Dr. S.Sesharatnam, Shri Vasant Rao Patil, Dr.G.Bhaskar Maiya,
Shri D.N. Shrinath, Dr. Chandrakant Mehta, Dr. Aravindan.M., Mrs.
Sasmita Nanda, Dr.(Km.) Sneh Mohanish, Shri Kamlesh Bhartiya,
Shri Shrirang Sangoram, Shri Purushotam Chittle, Smt. Anuradha
Mahendra, Dr.Omkar Kaul, Shri Shiv Nirmohi and Shri M. Mubin.
The Shiksha Puraskar
winners are; Dr. Yatish Aggarwal, and Dr. Hari Narayan Srivastav
and Shri Rajendra Prasad (co-writers).
