CONDOLES DEATH OF SHRI NARENDRA MOHAN
The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee
has expressed deep grief over the demise of Shri Narendra Mohan,
here today.
In his condolence message, the Prime Minister
said that Shri Narendra Mohan had a defining influence in the
growth of Hindi journalism and worked tirelessly to uphold the
lofty ideals of objective, issue-based and patriotic journalism.
His thinking and work displayed a rare sensitivity and deep understanding
of the complex aspects of his time in general, and profession,
in particular. His was a prominent voice in developing a vibrant
and relevant media policy in the country. As a Member of Parliament,
he showed a fearless and modern approach on various issues, Shri
Vajpayee added.
The Prime Minister visited the New Friends Colony
residence of Shri Narendra Mohan and paid homage to the departed
soul.
