The National Train Enquiry System, the IT facilitated
train enquiry facility based on Interactive Voice Recording System
(IVRS) and launched a few years ago by Indian Railways has been
implemented at 98 stations across different Zonal Railways so
far. Work is in progress to provide this facility at other important
stations as well.
