The Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has expressed grief over the sad demise of eminent Hindi literatteur and freedom fighter Laxmi Kant Verma.

In his condolence message Shri Vajpayee described Shri Verma as a sensitive writer and poet whose work embodied a rare intellectual vibrancy and a deeprooted concern for people’s causes. His absence will always be felt acutely in the world of literature, the Prime Minister added.
