CONDOLES SHRI PHADNIS’ DEATH
The Minister of Information & Broadcasting,
Smt. Sushma Swaraj has condoled the death of veteran journalist,
former Political Editor of Hindustan Times, Shri Uma Shankar Phadnis.
In a message, Smt. Swaraj said that Shri Phadnis who joined the
freedom struggle on the call of Mahatma Gandhi for Civil Disobedience,
later excelled in the field of journalism. His life was full of
dedication to the cause of freedom and development of the country,
Smt. Swaraj said.
