DEFENCE COOPERATION
WITH LAOS
RAJYA SABHA
The Government propose
to step-up Defence Cooperation with Laos. During the visit of
Prime Minister to Laos this month, an Agreement on Defence Cooperation
was signed between India and Laos. This Agreement will provide
the institutional framework for grater cooperation between the
two countries, in defence related matters.
This information
was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written
reply to Smt Vanga Geetha in Rajya Sabha today.
