FUNDS RELEASED TO KARNATAKA FOR RURAL HOUSING

Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs.729.69 lakh to seven districts of Karnataka for the implementation of the Indira Awas Yojana. This is the second instalment for the year 2002-2003. The expenditure on the implementation of the programme is to be shared on 75:25 basis between the Centre and State respectively. The state government has to release its share within one month of the date of release of central assistance.
