DISINVESTMENT OF
SHIPYARDS
The Disinvestment
Commission has recommended disinvestments of Government equity
in Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL)
and Central Inland Water Transport Corporation (CIWTC). The recommendations
of Disinvestment Commission are at a very preliminary stage of
discussions.
This was stated in
Rajya Sabha today by Shri Su. Thirunavukkarasar, Minister of State
for Shipping while replying to a question by Shri Moolchand Meena
and Dr. T. Subbarami Reddy.
