Fertiliser Co-operative Limited (IFFCO) and Krishak Bharati
Cooperative Ltd (KRIBHCO) presented two separate dividend cheques
totalling Rs. 123.52 crore to the Prime Minister, Shri Atal
Bihari Vajpayee at his residence, here today.
IFFCO Chairman,
Shri Srinivas Gowda presented a cheque worth Rs. 57.92 crore
to the Prime Minister. KRIBHCO Chairman, Shri Chanderpal Singh
presented another cheque worth Rs. 65.60 crore to Shri Vajpayee.
Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers, Shri Sukhdev Singh
Dhindsa and senior officials of both the co-operative organisations
were also present on the occasion.
The 20 % dividend
given by both the co-operatives is the highest ever announced
by these two organisations.
