The Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) Major General P Mohandas (retd) presented a dividend cheque worth Rs. 23 crore for the financial year 2001-02 to Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes here today. BDL a Defence Public Sector Undertaking, is a strategic industry that produces defence equipment of world standard.

The company has been paying dividend regularly for over a decade and is poised to grow many fold in the next few years. The commissioning of new projects is expected to enhance the war capabilities of the armed forces.
