LABOUR MINISTER CONDOLES KAIFI AZMI'S DEATH
The
Labour Minister Shri Sharad Yadav has expressed deep shock
at the demise of renowned Urdu poet Kaifi Azmi in Mumbai this
morning. Conveying his deep condolence to Ms. Shabana Azmi, MP.
Shri Yadav said that Kaifi Azmi combined poetic sensibilities
with receptivity. He said that despite having feudal background,
Kaifi Azmi was a progressive to the core and expressed pain he
felt about the downtrodden through his poetry. Shri Yadav said
that his contribution to urdu poetry and Hindi cinema would be
long remembered.
