SHRI ADVANI CONDOLES THE DEMISE OF KAIFI AZMI

The Home Minister, Shri L.K. Advani has expressed grief at the sad demise of noted Urdu Poet Kaifi Azmi. In his condolence message to the bereaved family Shri Advani said Kaifi Azmi was a poet of the masses and made exceptional contribution to Urdu literature. His literary works will continue to inspire and motivate the people. In his death the country has lost an eminent Urdu poet and the Urdu literary world will miss him very much, he said.
