SPECIAL COURT TO TRY POTA ACCUSED

and Order is a State subject and as such the
information
regarding the number of Special Courts instituted as on
date to try Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) accused, State-wise,
and the number of POTA detenues in each State including foreign
nationals is not centrally maintained in the Ministry of Home
Affairs.
This
information was given by the Union Minister of Law, Justice and
Company Affairs, Shri Arun Jaitley in a written reply to a question
from Shri Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi in the Lok Sabha today.
