        Information and Broadcasting Minister, Smt. Sushma Swaraj has expressed deep condolences at the death of noted film lyricist Anand Bakshi who passed away in Mumabi last evening. In a message, she said that entire India swayed to the songs written by Mr. Anand Bakshi for about half a century and would continue to do so for years to come.

        She said, his songs were more nearer to the masses and he was a prolific song writer. He wrote over 5000 songs for numerous popular films and the void created by his death would be difficult to be filled.
