MARAN CLEARS FDI PROPOSALS WORTH Rs. 1113 CRORE
Shri Murasoli Maran, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, has cleared 57 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) proposals involving FDI worth Rs. 1113 Crore. The major investment proposals pertain to sectors such as manufacture of colour display tubes for computer colour monitors, chemicals & petro-chemicals, courier services, telecom services, manufacture of automobiles, agro-chemicals, information technology, software development, e-learning education business, ISP, petroleum & natural gas and tourism. The list of proposals cleared by Shri Maran is given below. Earlier, the Foreign Investment Promotion Board had submitted its recommendations for the Minister's clearance.
