    Under the scheme of National Sports Championship for Women, sports competitions are organized at Block, District, State and National levels involving women sports persons. The sports disciplines covered under the scheme are Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Tennis, Swimming and Volleyball. The pattern of financial assistance for organizing the various competitions is as under:

i) Block level - Rs. 1000/- per block

ii) District level - Rs. 3000/- per district

iii) State level - Rs. 10000/- per state

iv) For smaller - Rs. 5000/- per State/UT

5. For National level competitions, boarding and lodging @ Rs. 35/- per head for the days of the festival and to and fro 2^nd class rail fare/bus fare are reimbursed.
