NCC DELEGATION TO BANGLADESH

    A 13-member NCC delegation including one officer and 12 cadets is proceeding to Bangladesh from March 20, 2002 to March 31, 2002. During their stay in Bangladesh they will participate in National and Independence Day Parade. While in Bangladesh, the cadets will give a presentation on India's Culture, Heritage, tradition and NCC. The delegation will also call on DGNCC of Bangladesh andother important personalities.

    The delegation is being lead by Lt Col PC Patnaik consists of 8 male and 5 females from NCC Directorate of Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal and North East Region. The names of cadets are Anil Nanaware CSUO, NS Rathore CSUO, Saurabh Gurung JUO, Uttam Singh UO, B Bhaskar.

    The members of the delegation called on Lt Gen BK Bopanna, Director General NCC here today. Lt Gen Bopanna offered his best wishes and exhorted them to bring glory to the country as the young ambassadors of India.
