    As per available information, the norms have been redrawn by the Delhi High Court for assessing work done by judicial officers by according graded priority for disposal of old cases according to the year of pendency. It is a step forward for disposal of old pending cases.

    Periodical reviews are held by the concerned District Judge and the High Court and correction actions are, accordingly, taken.

    This information was given by the Union Minister of Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Shri Arun Jaitley in a written reply to a question from S/Shri N. Janardhana Reddy, Adhir Chowdhury and Sushil Kumar Shinde in the Lok Sabha today.
