    The Election Commission of India, which has been vested with the superintendence, direction and control of the preparation of electoral rolls, has informed that it is not aware of inclusion of names of Pakistani nationals in the voters’ lists in various States. Whenever any such case is brought to the notice of the concerned authorities, statutory power is exercised to inquire into such case and delete the name if found to be ineligible for inclusion.
