VENKAIAH NAIDU OFFERS HOMAGE TO RAGHUNATH REDDY

    The Minister of Rural Development Shri M Venkaiah Naidu offered homage to the mortal remains of Shri K V Raghunath Reddy, former Governor of Tripura and West Bengal, at the West Bengal Bhawan in New Delhi today. The Minister said he was saddened to learn about the demise of Shri Reddy who was a noble person deeply committed towards the welfare of the weaker sections of society. Shri Reddy believed in socialism, personally led a simple life and constantly sought to set high standards in public life the Minister said. Shri Reddy used to take keen interest in the problems of the working class and proved to be an effective administrator he added.

    Shri Naidu said Shri K V Raghunath Reddy and himself were both natives of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh and that he personally knew Shri Reddy from his student days itself. He offered his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family members of Shri Reddy.
