GEN. KHANDURI CONDOLES THE UNTIMELY DEMISEOF SH. BALAYOGI
The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Road Transport and Highways, Maj. Gen. B. C. Khanduri, A VSM (Retd.) has expressed deep shock and disbelief at the sudden demise of Lok Sabha Speaker, Sh. G. M. C. Balayogi.
In a condolence message, Gen. Khanduri said the tragedy has caused irreparable loss to the nation. "Sh. Balayogi shouldered immense responsibilities at a young age and upheld the great democratic traditions of our Constitution in an exemplary manner. He was an epitome of statesmanship and humility and a great source of inspiration for the youth of the country. It is a great personal loss for me. May God bless the departed soul and bestow courage upon the bereaved family to bear the tragedy", he said.
