EXCHANGE OF FIRE IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR

Indian troops carried out retaliatory fire assaults on Pak posts in Batalik, Kargil and Dras areas killing/ wounding six to eight Pak soldiers. About 12 pak bunkers were destroyed/ damaged.

Pak troops carried out Heavy artillery and mortar fire in Tangdhar area. Indian troops retaliated and damaged three pak bunkers.

In retaliatory fire by Indian troops in Punch, Rajouri and Naushera Sector several casulties and extensive damage on Pak posts have been caused.
