SEMINAR ON STATE OF ANIMAL HOUSES IN LABORATORIES

A one-day seminar on ‘State of Animal Houses in India’ is being organised here on 10 June 2002. Hosted by the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), under the animal Welfare Division, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, this is the first seminar to be held on animal houses of research laboratories in the country.

The focus of the seminar will be on norms of maintenance of a good animal house and the present conditions of animal houses in various laboratories and institutions. Representatives of research laboratories and scientists from all over the country will participate in the seminar.
