INDIA RULES OUT THE USE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS


Attention of the Ministry of Defence has been drawn to some media reports about the possible use of Nuclear weapons in the current India-Pakistan stand-off.

The Government makes it clear that India does not believe in the use of nuclear weapons. Neither does it visualize that it will be used by any other country.

India categorically rules out the use of nuclear weapons. India is a responsible country and it feels that it will be imprudent to use such weapons.
