SHRI RAM NAIK PAYS HOMAGE TO LATE SUDHIR PHADKE
Petroleum Minister Shri
Ram Naik has condoled the death of Shri Sudhir Phadke, a renowned
music composer and playback singer. Paying homage to the departed
soul, Shri Naik described Shri Phadke as a man of great will power
which was reflected in his resolve to successfully complete and
release his cherished film on "Veer Savarkar" during his life
time. His film on Swatantraya Veer Savarkar will inspire Indians
for generations. Shri Naik recalled his close association with
late Shri Phadke which goes back to his college days in 1952.
In his condolence the Petroleum Minister said "Shri Sudhir Phadke
will remain in the minds of music lovers as a great music director
and also as a singer of Geet Ramayan. In his death I have lost
an elderly person who loved me emotionaly."
