MEDIA SECRETARIAT IN HOME MINISTRY
It is proposed to set up a Media Management Secretariat in the
Ministry of Home Affairs to formulate policies and programmes
relating to dissemination of information in respect of matters
about internal security. This secretariat would be the interface
of the Ministry of Home Affairs with the Press Information Bureau
and the media.
The Minister of State for Home, Shri I.D. Swami gave this
reply to a question from Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal in the Lok Sabha
today.
