PM CONDOLES THE DEATH OF SHRI NAVAKANTA BARUA
The Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari
Vajpayee has expressed grief over the death of Assamese poet Navakanta
Barua.
In his message,
the Prime Minister said that Shri Barua infused a distinct character
of originality and liveliness to Assamese poetry. The phenomenal
legacy of his literary output will inspire the generations of
poets and writers and continue to enrich the multi-hued mosaic
of Indian literature, Shri Vajpayee added.
