NEW DIRECTOR (FINANCE) FOR BEL

Mr. PRK Hara Gopal has taken charge as the new Director (Finance) of Defence Public Sector Unit (PSU) Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) at Bangalore. He has earlier served as Additional General Manager (Finance) in BEL’s Chennai Unit from 1991 to 1995. He has also served as Director (Finance) in another Defence PSU, Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd, Hyderabad, from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, he joined AP Gas Power Corporation Limited as Joint Managing Director.

Mr Hara Gopal comes as Director (Finance) to BEL with a rich experience in various PSUs. After obtaining his FCA in 1972, he joined Cotton Corporation of India. He has also worked with Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) and Hindustan Cables Ltd, Hyderabad.
