   The Department of Commerce has launched a new independent Website http://sezindia.nic.in The Website gives detailed information on the policy and procedure and other related information on Indian Special Economic Zones (SEZs). Earlier, the details of SEZ scheme were available as part of the Website of the Department of Commerce. The new Website also provides links to the Website of other functional SEZs. It is hoped that the Website would facilitate quick and easy access to information on Indian SEZs to the prospective investors.
