JUSTICE BHAGWATI, NEW CHANCELLOR OF LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI RASHTRIYA SANSKRIT VIDYAPEETHA

    Justice P.N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India, has been appointed the Chancellor of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vidyapeetha. Justice Bhagwati, who is also the Chairman of UN Human Rights Committee, accepting the appointment said, he considers it as a privilege particularly in view of his love for Sanskrit and Indian philosophy.

    He succeeds Dr. K. P. A. Menon, whose term has expired.
