ACCEPTANCE OF FEES BY DCA

    The Department of Company Affairs (DCA) has engaged the services of 15 additional branches of Punjab National Bank for acceptance of fees from companies in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the State of Haryana for filing their Balance Sheet, other documents and Annual Return with the Registrar of Companies in Delhi.

    In a circular issued to the chambers of commerce representing companies in Delhi and Haryana, the DCA has said that the companies may deposit the fees by way of challan in these branches of Punjab National Bank but documents are to be filed in the office of Registrar of Companies on or before the prescribed last date (30 days in respect of Balance Sheet and other documents and 60 days in respect of Annual Return). In case of late filing of the documents, additional fees will be levied as per the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956.

    Other procedure and head of account will remain the same as in the earlier order of October 30, 1976 issued by DCA.

    The additional branches of Punjab National Bank for payment of fees relating to revenue of the DCA from the companies over and above the existing branches of the Bank that have been engaged in Delhi, Noida and Faridabad for acceptance of fees are : Lodhi Road, New Delhi, ECE House, New Delhi, Parliament Street, New Delhi, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Naraina, Delhi, NIT Faridabad, Noida Sector 27, Preet Vihar, Delhi, Tolstoy House, New Delhi, N-74 Janpath, New Delhi, Nehru Place, New Delhi, Darya Ganj, Delhi, Gurudwara Road Karol Bagh, New Delhi, Kamla Nagar, Delhi and Rajendra Place, New Delhi.
