ARIANA AFGHAN AIRLINES TO RESUME REGULAR FLIGHTS BETWEEN DELHI AND KABUL SHORTLY.
The inaugural flight of the Ariana Afghan Airlines from Kabul landed here today. The flight carrying 12 passengers and 11 crew members was received at the airport by the Civil Aviation Minister Shri Syed Shahnawaz Hussain. The Afghan Minister for Civil Aviation Mr. Abdul Rahman was among the passengers in the inaugural flight.
Speaking to newsmen on arrival the Afghan Minister said regular flights between Delhi and Kabul will start shortly. He said the airlines decided to fly the first flight to Delhi after the UN sanctions were lifted as India is a friendly country.
