KALAKRITI – HANDICRAFTS & HANDLOOM FAIR
Kalakriti – Handicrafts & Handloom Fair first of its kind in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has been organised till 28th January 2002 by Bihar State Export Corporation Ltd. In this Fair over 50 crafts persons from all parts of the country are participating.
The objective behind organising this kind of Fair is to promote rural and tribal craft in order to capture export market. It will also provide market and marketing support to the artisans besides providing design development training with the help of Ministry of Textiles through National Institute of Fashion Designing so that their product could meet the recent market trends.
A large number of visitors are visiting the fair which definitely will boost the morale of the crafts persons and the customers too can get items at reasonable prices.
