JPC OF STEEL MINISTRY GOES ONLINE
Joint Plant Committee (JPC), the data bank for steel industry launched this month its website as part of its on-going efforts to serve the industry through dissemination of information. The website aims to provide the much required industry information in the most simple and accessible form to the producers, consumers, economists, research scholars and students.
The site has a daily news feature which will be regularly updated and provide an insight into the latest industry and policy happenings. Steel RX Corporation , a Delhi based neutral e-commerce and IT solutions providers to the steel industry is assisting JPC in designing, hosting and maintaining the site. The site would supplement the efforts of the Government in providing the best support services to the steel industry.
JPC, an autonomous organization in the service of the steel industry was constituted by the Ministry of Steel in the year 1964. The organization has successfully reinvented itself with the passage of time and today provides a host of service to the steel industry in the form of data, information, analyses, seminars and research work.
